Following is the example of gateway file you need to create for your gateway. Create this file in /usr/local/freeswitch/conf/sip_profiles/external/

Code: Select all
<include>
  <gateway name="mygafachi">
    <param name="username" value="<Authentication ID>"/>
    <param name="password" value="<Secret>"/>
    <param name="proxy" value="xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx"/>
    <param name="register" value="true"/>
  </gateway>
</include>

Don't forget to restart your freeswitch after adding the gateway. To test if your gateway is running, go to freeswitch command line (fs_cli) and run "sofia status". It will show you all the gateways configured and their status.

Now create a trunk in the Web GUI of ICTFAX.
Go to ICTPBX System -> Provider Trunk (Gateway) -> Create New Provider Trunk. Write the name of the trunk i.e. "mygafachi", set its status to active and set the add prefix according to your gateway provider. Other fields are non-functional at the moment. Just save this trunk information and test your fax sending.

One more thing, for receiving a fax you will need to just add the IP Address of your DID provider in the ACL domains. No other configurations required. ICTFax is already configured to catch any incoming call and if that is a fax it will start receiving it after verifying the user on the basis of incoming number.

Just based on previous experiences, may be you need to enable or disable some of the Gateway codecs in freeswitch but it may vary from gateway to gateway.
