freeswitch installation path and configuration

Postby techfutures » Fri Jan 31, 2014 8:02 am

From reading other posts and documentation, I believe the config path is suppose to be /usr/local/freeswitch/conf/sip_profiles/external/. There is no "freeswitch" folder in my /usr/local path. It is in /usr/src/freeswitch, but within the "conf" folder there is no sip_profiles folder, only the following:

- vanilla
- softphone
- sbc
- rayo
- insideout
- curl
- freeswitch.xml

running on ubuntu-precise-12.04-amd64

I did that the first time, but I re-ran it again. It came back with "Congratulations, FreeSWITCH is now installed at'/usr/local/freeswitch'"

But there is still no folder called freeswitch in that directory. It still is in /usr/src/...

Check that your Freeswitch started in this directory /usr/src....
